It seems to have rained all year so far! One thing I do notice though is that you get a lot of beautiful views as a result up here. The rain actually suits the landscape if that makes any sense. This misty view is taken from the dog field at the bottom end of the park.
Later the same day we went to Ambleside and the sun came out briefly giving us yet another stunning rainbow. They never seem quite so vivid on the photos I take of them as they are in real life!Anyway - don't let anyone tell you that there is going to be a drought this year!
